Richard Sherman: The NFL Banning The N-Word Is” Almost Racist”

richard-sherman
Do we live in a post-racial America where banning an racially offensive word is offensive? According to Seattle Seahawks’ corner Richard Sherman, we do as he gave his opinions on the NFL’s recent attempt at banning the N-word from being said on field.
At a March owners’ meeting, it is being speculated that the NFL’s competition committee will put in place a rule that would penalize teams 15 yards if players utter the N-word. In a recent interview with  themmqb.comthe Super Bowl winning Sherman disapproves of the banning, partially on the grounds that other offensive language will not been penalized:
[Banning the n-word] is an atrocious idea. It’s almost racist, to me. Why wouldn’t all curse words be banned then.
The Fritz Pollard Alliance, an organization that monitors diversity in the NFL, has led the charge for the rule. The head of the group, John Wooten informed ESPN.com that he believes the 15 yard penalty should escalate to ejections for multiple players:
I’ll even accept the fact that they say we’re going to warn them in preseason but during the [regular-season] games, if it comes up, we’re going to take him to the sideline to the coach and tell the coach, ‘Coach this a warning. Next time he’s out of here.’ I want it to be that drastic
The rule will be discussed and voted for approval at this year’s owner’s meeting from March 26th-March 29th in Orlando, Fla.

Rick Ross: If The Illuminati Was Like Men In Black I’d Invite Them To My Home

Rick Ross - Mastermind
Rick Ross is a rapper, entrepreneur, former correctional officer, father but he has never been a member of a mysterious occult. In a recent interview, Ross not only laughed off the persistent rumors of his affiliation with the Illuminati, but also theorized a scenario in which he would be open to joining the group.
While speaking with Rolling Stone for their upcoming issue, Ross says the Illuminati rumors not only humor him but compliments the rapper’s success:
It’s a compliment. Like, ‘Wow, I made it, I’m in the Illuminati!’ But people who say shit like that, to me, are like people who believe in f*cking magic.
Later in the interview, Ross makes peace with all magicians by stating that “avid Copperfield is a close homey of mine”. The Mastermind rapper even gives a scenario in which he would all the Illuminati members to hang with him at his house:
If the Illuminati was like Men in Black, I would’ve been told them to come to the house. You mean they just pull up and zap you and you’re successful and rich? Shut the f*ck up! You know, I just smile and keep it going, man.

A 16-minute matter: ‘Mr Musharraf, take your seat’

ISLAMABAD:
On the day that transpired as General (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s maiden appearance in the special court, media personnel deployed outside the special court anxiously looked on for any signs of the accused. As the waiting period drew into its first hour, gossip surrounding the possibilities of what could ensue was at its zenith.
Some said his convoy may be diverted to the Benazir Bhutto International Airport; others speculated that he would be transported to his luxurious farmhouse in Chak Shahzad rather than to court.
Inside the courtroom, the usually vacant witness box to the left of the bench had a lone chair for the accused. A security sweep was meticulously conducted. The bomb disposal squad made thorough inspections all around; special jammers were placed on the left and right side of the bench and the judges’ seats were also checked and cleared by the squad. Spectators waited with bated breath as news of retired general Pervez Musharraf’s arrival outside the courtroom was declared.

France wants faster UN deployment in C.Africa
Paris (AFP) - French President Francois Hollande Thursday called on the United Nations to fast-track the deployment of peacekeepers in the Central African Republic to help quell a bloody sectarian conflict.

"The UN Security Council set a clear mandate (for peacekeepers) which must be quickly and firmly implemented. It's a question mainly of speeding up the preparation for a peacekeeping operation, in close partnership with the African Union," said a statement from the French presidency.
In a telephone call to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Hollande said UN troops were needed to help restore peace and prop up the administration of new interim president Catherine Samba Panza.

Nairobi (AFP) - Kenya on Thursday accused the US development agency USAID of trying to "destabilise" the country by financing anti-government demonstrations.
